Indie publisher Firenut Games announced Chrysolite, a narrative-driven, pixel-art 2D Metroidvania-inspired platformer, coming to Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC later this year.
Developed by solo developer José Manuel Conesa Hernández, Chrysolite is a lovingly crafted platformer that engages players with its intriguing narrative and simple, yet challenging gameplay and uses hand-drawn illustrations to advance the narrative.
A brooding knight sits in front of a fire, the darkness surrounding him. His sword plunged into the ground, covered in the dried blood of his enemies. He warns you against going any further, but the intrigue of what lies beyond far surpasses your instinct of self-preservation.
Play as a young thief and explore the dangerous remains of a once-prosperous kingdom. Fight against hordes of terrifying monsters and make your way through challenging platforming sections to uncover the clues to unlock the dark story of the last days of the kingdom.
Chrysolite is participating in the Metroidvania Fusion Steam Event running from 4 -11 March, where fans can download the very first demo for the game for free as well as try out other exciting indie Metroidvana inspired indie games.
Chrysolite will launch for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam) later in 2024.

Demolish Games (@DemolishGames) confirmed that its physics-based construction and demolition simulator, Demolish & Build 3, will be released on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch in 2025. The game will be released on PC in Q2 2024. A free prologue is also available on Steam from March 1.
Demolish & Build 3 is a new installment of the simulator in which you are the owner of a construction and demolition company. The gameplay focuses primarily on performing various demolition and construction works, as well as developing and managing the company.
The game’s outstanding feature is its realistic destruction system. Each fragment consists of a specific material with unique parameters, like resistance to various types of damage. Even greater realism is ensured by taking into account the mutual influence of individual objects and structures.
In Demolish & Build 3 Prologue, players will find the first 3 missions from the full version of the game, which take an average of 1-1.5 hours to complete. In the free prologue you can try, among others: a skid steer, an excavator, as well as learn the basic mechanics.

RiffRaff Games (@RiffRaffDev) confirmed that their third-person card-slinging occult noir stealth sim, Sleight of Hand, will launch day one on @XboxGamePass for Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC in 2025. The powerhouse team at RiffRaff Games, helmed by multi-award-winning noir puzzle game FRAMED creator Joshua Boggs will also bring Sleight of Hand to Steam.
Step into the gumshoes of Lady Luck (voiced by Debi Mae West, Metal Gear Solid’s Meryl Silverburgh), a revered former occult detective fated to return for one final job: taking down her former Coven. Her departure was less than amicable; last time, she lost her left hand. Too tired to fight fate any longer, and with more overdue bills than bucks to her name, Lady Luck strikes out to Steeple City with cursed deck in hand, ready to track down everyone from her past life.
